November 9th: Beckie Farrant

Meet Beckie Farrant!  She is the wife of Tim (13 years) and Mom to Issac (6) and Kayla (3). She is a red-headed, left-handed, frugal-living, faith-walking, truth-speaking, creative-minded, purpose-driven, leadership-seeking, spray-painting, fun-loving Midwest girl living in the land of corn and the Colts.

She is the well know blogger of Infarrantly Creative and Roadkill Rescue (That is the term she has dubbed when she finds some curbside castaway and turns it into beautiful and usable decor.)!  She is a “think-outside-the-box” creator. She loves recycling and repurposing.  When she began blogging 5 years ago, she says she would have never guessed how much she could inspire people to create the way that she has.

Last spring she spoke to our Mom2Mom group about “decorating on a dime”

Shortly after speaking at M2M, she appeared on the TLC Network’s Craft Wars!  This time we’ve asked her to come back and do a hand’s -on activity with us!  Make sure you RSVP so we have materials ready for you to participate!!!!

October 26th: Erin Nikou and her “grace” story!

Grace and redemption are concepts that many of us never allow ourselves to grasp and understand.  Many people are stuck in a place in life where they are guilt stricken with their past.  They have a tough time forgiving themselves, or those who have wronged them to move on.  This keeps people from fully understanding God’s love for them, and being able to fully love those around them.  Come on 26th to hear the powerful story of Erin Nikou on grace and redemption from her past and where God has brought her today.  Erin has been married now for 6 years to her husband Aaron.  They have two beautiful daughters, Myka (2 1/2) and Rylee (3 months).  The Nikous currently live in Greenwood, IN where she is primarily a stay at home Mom, but still enjoys working as a Physician Assistant in the ER one night a week.  Had Erin not allowed God to work in her life and show her ultimate forgiveness, she would not be where she is today….allowing God to use her past to impact the lives of others.
