September 27th: Dare to Discipline with Becky Englin


Becky has been married to Rob for 42 years.  They have two grown children
and 9 grandchildren.  Their daughter Kristin has a blended family with 6
children. Their son, Lt. Keith Englin and his family live in OFallon IL.  He and his
wife have 3 children.  They adopted their youngest son in AR when they were
stationed there.
Becky earned a degree in Elementary Education from IU and a master’s degree
from Butler University.  She began teaching preschool when her son was 3 yrs
old.  She taught 3, 4 and pre-K classes for 13 years at Castleton United
Methodist Nursery School in Indianapolis.  She also taught parenting classes for
several years.
Becky enjoys working with children of all ages.  She also served as a Sunday
School teacher and preschool Sunday School director at Northside Baptist
Church for several years.
She and her husband served as volunteer youth directors in their church for
15 years.  It was designed to reach high school students in the Indianapolis
area.  They are currently hosting a small group in their home and mentoring
an engaged couple.  Becky has a wealth of knowledge from many, many years of working with children.  She has a heart for encouraging moms as well and you will be blessed coming to hear what she has to say about how to better instill discipline in our kids lives.

Ever wanted to get to know the moms in our community better?  Well, our next gathering you will get the opportunity to do just that!  We will spend some time breaking up into groups and answering questions, offering advice and encouragement to each other!  Hope to see you there!
