Shannon Kramer is the owner of Miss Shannon’s Music Studio in Batesville Indiana. She lives in Oldenburg with her two children, Katryna and Lily, and their dog R.J. Shannon and her kids spend time singing, dancing, reading and playing outside! Her oldest daughter is 14, and recently was the Little Mermaid in BMS’s production of “The Little Mermaid”. And her youngest Lily, who is 7, loves playing the piano! Both girls take ballet lessons, and they are all very active in their church. Shannon sings and plays at Holy Family Church in Oldenburg. You can also find her singing at many other churches including St. Marks and St. Anne’s. She is the director of a youth choir and they perform at many events through the Christmas Season. Shannon also sings and plays for many other events locally and around the tri-state area.
Shannon has operated and owned Miss Shannon’s Music Studio since 2003. She studied music performance at Northern Kentucky University. Shannon teaches voice, piano, guitar and Musikgarten at her studio. The studio employs 9 teachers including Shannon, and they all bring a unique talent to the studio family. The studio is very family friendly! And they think of anyone who joins as a part of their extended family. The studio offers a variety of instruments, piano, voice, guitar, violin, bass and Musikgarten. They are constantly adding more and more music programs. They also have special summer camps for voice, drama and this year they will also have a guitar intensive. She also has created a women’s Glee Club, for any woman age of 18-100. They have a great time singing and enjoying beautiful music. Shannon has been a licensed Musikgarten teacher for the past 10 years also. She has a passion for bringing out the natural abilities of children, and developing a love for music at an early age. Musikgarten is for age birth-6 at the Studio. Shannon absolutely loves working with the little ones, showing them how to sing and tap steady beats, how to dance and sing with the music! Musikgarten’s principles and Miss Shannon’s are the same. First teaching music, and understanding children by inspiring parents. “My most sincere encouragement to parents is to make music freely with your child…to lose yourself in the world of childhood, to delight in the play that your child is showing you, and to experience your child’s wonder and enjoyment of the musical world.” Musikgarten Founder. Miss Shannon can’t wait to introduce this wonderful gift of music to everyone!!
