Claire Macyauski is a Master’s Level Therapist who received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Psychology from Ball State University in 2008. She went on to receive her Master’s in Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy from The Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL in 2010. She is currently working toward getting licensed as mental health counselor. Ms. Macyauski is employed at Centerstone, the nation’s largest not-for-profit provider of community-based behavioral healthcare, offering a full range of mental health services, substance abuse treatment and intellectual and developmental disabilities services. She has been working there for the past two years. She helped start the school-based therapy program at the Greensburg Elementary last year and continues to help it grow in the Decatur County schools. She works with children ages 4-18 in the schools and at home. Prior to working at Centerstone she was employed at the Ripley County Prosecutor’s Office. Ms. Macyauski resides in Greensburg, IN. She currently has no children of her own, but looks forward to being a mother someday. She has a 1 year golden doodle, Oakley, which keeps her plenty busy. When she isn’t busy with her job or helping people, she enjoys making crafts and different kinds of artwork of her own.
We are so excited to hear what Claire has learned about Art Therapy and how it can help us as Moms as we guide and lead our children.
